benz star software installation error and solution


One of our customer meet this problem in software installation. When you meet this problem too, please use the following way to solve your problem.
Problem shown:

It has the prompt: " No access authorization code, Please contact the Star Diagnosis Call Center". What causes this problem and how to solve it?



Reason:

1) You do not active XENTRY

2) Your system cannot save the files after activation

Solution:

1) Copy the file show on this picture, and rename it "lic_key_2.x4711"



2) Then change file "lic_key_2.x4711" to read-only file.

There are two lic_key_2 file in the whole file, but suffix is different, please pay attention. Don't make the mistake.

3) After you have did that, run xentry.
