Installing a higher version of Ksuite does not bring new protocols but adds ECUs to existing protocols and a lot of bug fixes and checksums fixes, Simos18 4.5MB...
This is not useless and the grayed out protocols are not really a problem.

And Ksuite 2.47 is even better with Kess firmware v2 5.028.
If you don’t have a good Kess fw 5.028, firmware 5.017 with sw 2.23 is the best option for you.

A: Not for ktag.. is for kess5.017
ktag max 2.25..

Q: What is the procedure for installation ?
A: No install just start ksuite.exe if you use version of svvag2000

2.How PCR2.1 Full Flash with Ktag and SSM cable
PCR2.1 full flash VERY IMPORTANT!!

In recent update,Kess V2 now can write PCR2.1 with VR-file without needing patch first with KTag.

And KTag now also has the ability to extract the password and then do full read and write thru bootmode. Such a read can then be used by Alientech in their database for vr-files.

About PCR2.1 full flash with KTag, you need Pinout cable SSM 144300T111 (INFINEON TRICORE ECU PCR2.1 CABLE)

So, the nice case is the same as the ori to have things but it doesn’t matter if the pcb is well done. Don’t think you have to rework something.
