A: No, you cannot. IDS software and JLR software need to be installed to Drive (C:) and at least 15G memory available.

A: No, better use the VCM and its matching IDS from one same seller. Maybe the VCM and IDS version from different sellers is not the same and it is possible to damage the device if they work together.
Q: VCM software includes Ford & Mazda IDS, Jaguar & Land rover (JLR), Can they be installed on the same computer?
A: Better install them on two different computers, we have some customers who tried to install on the same computer, but failed.

A: When the VCM is installed, it is multi-language available to select: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Netherlands, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Portuguese and Slovak, but after the software is installed, the language can’t be changed, unless the software is reinstalled.

Q: When Ford VCM is installed, error message displays “Crack failed”
A: Crack fails means license fail. When the license is installed, the anti-virus software should be uninstalled, only after the VCM software is installed can the license run. After you install successfully the VCM IDS software, reboot the computer, then install the license, finally open the VCM software, if the VCM IDS software is opened, the license can’t be installed.
Q: I install all the software on the license patch, when I open IDS license file, it can’t be used, an error message reading “Windows cannot access the specified device, patch, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item”.
A: this error suggests that the patch can’t work. Since the VCM software isn’t compatible with your computer, advice you use Windows XP professional. And when the VCM PATCH runs, the installed VCM software can’t be opened.
