Launch X431 Pro5 is a car diagnostic tool with remote diagnostic function.

The biggest selling point of Launch X431 PRO5 is the SmartLink C remote diagnostic box (maintenance end), which is a hard-core configuration that the previous X431 PRO series products never had.
The remote diagnostic function brings the diagnostic capability of the PRO 5 to a new level compared to the previous generation (PRO 3S+).
The Launch X431 PRO5 is not limited to the functions of the PRO5 host. SmartLink C breaks the distance limit and will greatly facilitate maintenance companies to share the technical resources provided by professional mechanics and massive high-end equipment. "Let every auto repair shop have no cars that cannot be repaired".
This also means that the Launch X431 PRO5 has dual diagnostic modes (local diagnostics and SmartLink remote diagnostics).
The dual diagnostic mode is completely unrestricted by diagnostic equipment, and can be used for Launch X431 diagnostic equipment (such as X-431 PRO5, X-431 PAD V), professional testing equipment, J2534, and even with third-party brands diagnostic equipment.
In addition to the functions mentioned above, there is another important function:
online programming function.
The online programming function has always been an important function of high-end diagnostic equipment because of its high degree of difficulty and high skill requirements for mechanics. Since this function is recognized by the market, the Launch manufacturer decided to add this function.
But the online programming function of Launch X431 Pro 5 is not a standard configuration software, so it needs to be purchased additionally.
Note: There is no online programming function entry in the new UI interface of Launch X431 PRO5, you can use the online programming function by purchasing the required online programming software from the online store of the X431 device.
And In order to simplify the menu, Launch integrates online programming into the model software, as long as you enter the diagnostic software system, you can see the online functions. (Only supported online programming models have corresponding function menus).
