if the main board of my key is broken, only change the main board is ok?

Yes. If your main board is broken, you can buy our main board to instead. But you need to read the old key information and rewrite it to this new main board. Attention, this one is made in china, only can be used Benz key IR Code Reader (our item number is SK136).
