hi can you put links to v7.7 software lease. im also having trouble connecting to cas !! ive run check device info from help tab and it see's donle and hardware but when i click auto connect it fials to connect says check hard ware connection to pc !?!? why ? software is seeing both hardware and dontgle.

Hi You say in questions cas1 only by obd Why does software chart say cas 1 and 3 byobd ? Can this tool do keys via obd as stated in the advertisement ? If needs cas plug you should supply with hardware package

For BMW MULTI TOOL, we attached the list on our description, it tell you done by OBD or CAS plug, please check. If it can be done by OBD port, then no need disassemble the ECU.

For CAS plug and CAS4 adapter, it is not included in the package, if you need, you need to buy it along.

1) Digimaster 3, open CAS4 function to program the key
2) This MULTI TOOL for BMW, please CAS 4 adapter to program the key.

It can work on cas 1-cas3, for cas 4, you need to buy cas 4 adapter. For F series, if your car is after Auguest 2012, then it belongs to CAS4+ encrypted version. This one is not support temporarily. New version in the future may support it. You need to read eeprom first then see it is the encrypted or not. V6.0 software can see the result too.

BMW MULTI TOOL can work on some keys by OBDII port, for some CAS keys, you need to remove the CAS to program the new key. For SVDI and FVDI, they can program keys via OBDII, but only can program the keys which is programmed by OBDII port, not for non-OBDII port programmed key.

Can you tell me more information about your car, incuding year and what cas. This one can work on bmw cas 1-3 for key programming, if your car is bmw cas 4, then you need to buy BMW CAS4 adapter, with BMW CAS4 adapter, you can program cas 4 keys. This one has program function too.
