Option 1. Clone Kess Ksuite
yes without problem can read and write this ecu type with kess clone
I have done a few car.
I have done Fiat Ducato 2015r MDJ8F3 about 10 stuck
and fiat 500 1.3 about 3 stuck without any problem.
Option 2. Ktag clone
Ktag work fine but we need open ecu.
I knew that with ktag clone you could do it in boot mode. Then you have to open the ECU.
Option 3. MPPS
The best tool is mpps. Mpps work perfectly on this ecu and do full backup on obd.
Once I wrote the MJD8DF with MPPS v18. It worked fine, I could read/write flash and EEPROM, so it's possible to even clone those.
If You're looking for a cheap tool for those ECUS, try original SMOK, not that expensive and can do all MJD8 and MJD9 ECUS without any problem.
