How to programming EEPROM with Tacho Pro 2008,please follow the instructions below.
Step 1. Clean the EEPROM chip. Make sure there is no paint or dust on it.
Step 2. Put oscillators on the board together.

Step 3: Put the clip on the EEPROM.
Step 4. Connect adapter-board to Tacho Pro 2008 and power up the mileage correction tool.
Step 5. Put the other end of the clip to the 8 pin port on the adapter-board with the red cable on the pin 1 mark.
Step 6. Select the car model on the main menu, and then click OK. The Tacho Pro will then read the EEPROM and enter to the EEPROM menu.
Step 7. Save all data with the menu SAVE if the value shown in the machine is alright.
Step 8. Go to the KM adjustment menu, fill in the new value, and the Tacho 2008 will verify if the EEPROM is successfully programmed.
Step 9. Remove the clip from the EEPROM.

Q: How to use this tacho pro to change the mileage? Any instruction?
A: There are 3 ways for this tacho pro to change the mileage: OBD diagnostic socket, remove dashboard and remove chip from the board. When you use this tacho pro to work on your car, after you choose the car model, it will prompt you to use which way and which cable. How to connect and so on. There is the user manual in the CD. Or you can follow the user manual to do.
Such as your car model is escalade 2002, when you connect this tool with your car, it will prompt you to fill in the clip number on chip EEprom 95020. Then click confirm. Then you can find this chip on your board then change the mileage in it.
Q: Can i update this tacho pro? Or does this tacho pro need to work together with computer?
A: Do not update it or connect this tacho pro with your computer to work. Otherwise this tacho pro will be locked, you need to send it back to us to repair. This tacho pro cannot updated. And it is worked alone. No need computer. When you start the device, do not press the update button.

1:Remove and disassemble the speedometer
2:Locate the processor
3:Solder the cable as the picture
4:Connect the plug 912 with the Tacho Pro Universal;
5: Select “speedometer” in the Tacho Universal;
6: The Tacho Universal shows you the old mileage data;
7: Enter the new mileage data;
8: Confirm the new mileage data with OK.
