WIFI usage instruction:
1) Power on the car. Connect the hardware of VDM and your car then wait for about 20 seconds
2) After device initialization is complete, open WIFI to search until you see the WIFI for this VDM UCANDAS
3) Open the VDM software, this software will recognize and match the WIFI automatically.
Attention: Match WIFI first then open the VDM software. DO NOT open software first then match WIFI. If you want to use WIFI function. Do not use the XP2 system laptop. XP2 system laptop cannot use the WIFI function.
For old version VDM, WIFI name is same. If you use many VDM at the same time to diagnose, you will confused to which VDM need to match which WIFI. Now for new version, it new adds the function to change the name of WIFI. In setup option, you can set ucandas as ucandas1, ucandas2, ucandas 3 and so on to distinguish. After you setup the password, you need to fill VDM password 87654321 manually. If you start car first then power on VDM main unit. Wait for about 20 seconds, and you will search for the WIFI you renamed. Then open VDM software, WIFI will matched automatically.
