Xhorse VVDI MLB Tool is compatible with Xhorse VVDI2 Key Programmer/VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad to add new keys for Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, Lamborghini, Bentley, and other MLB vehicle models without soldering, only need to remove 2 capacitors using a plier. The new Xhorse MLB Solder Free Adapter Kit is required to work with the devices.
VVDI MLB Solder Free Adapter Kit comes with 5 types:
Type 1 and Type 2 are for Audi, Lamborghini
Type 3 is for Audi, Bentley
Type 4 is for Porsche
Type 6 is for Volkswagen, Touareg
How to connect MLB Solder Free Adapter to MLB Tool?
1.Remove Capacitors from the Original Key
i.e. Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad
Use the OTG converter to connect the Xhorse MLB Tool to Key Tool Plus
Select Immo Programming>> Audi >> Select by Type>> MLB Immobilizer Systems
Select the corresponding key type and check the wiring diagram.
Follow the diagram to remove the two capacitors from the original key
Align the pins on the adapter with the contacts marked on the wiring diagram.
Fasten the buckle securely:
The short side of the buckle should face upwards.
The long side, marked in white, should face downwards.
3.Connect MLB Adapter to MLB Tool
Attach the Xhorse MLB Adapter to the key.
Connect the MLB Adapter to the MLB Tool, ensuring proper orientation.
Ensure the adapter ends up in the sensing area for accurate detection.
After connection, you can add a spare MLB key by VVDI MLB Tool and Xhorse Key Tool Plus.
For example: Add Audi A4L key (just skip the soldering steps)
In addition, you also can use the above connection method to add MLB key by MLB Tool and VVDI2.
