One thing that you must consider whenever you buy a scan to is tool is whether it's bidirectional or not bidirectional. A bidirectional scan tool will allow you to talk to the different computers in the vehicle ans actually turn things on or off at your command. A standard scan tool won't be powerful enough to activate different modules. I highly suggest that you always get a bidirectional scan tool. It's money well spent.

It's Bluetooth which means no wires to worry about. One of the advantages of being wireless is that you can stand outside the car or even under the hood and activate different modules or actuators and see them engage or disengage to further verify that things are working or not working.
