OBDSTAR MT502 overview:
MT502 is an automotive compressor test platform by BENCH newly developed by OBDSTAR, which almost can power on air conditioning compressor by sending CAN BUS signal, supporting most brands of electric scroll compressors. It comes with simple and intuitive menu guidance to allow you to quickly master the equipment operation, and supports Wi-Fi connection to the internet, one-click software upgrade. Very easy to use!

Prepare device and compressor:
OBDSTAR MT502 Automotive Compressor Test Platform Tool
OBDSTAR P004 Adapter+ ECU Clone Jumper
OBDSTAR High Voltage Jumper
High Voltage DC Power
Tesla Model Y Compressor


NOTE: OBDSTAR P004 Adapter+ ECU Clone Jumper and High Voltage Jumper are in the MT502 package.

Process:
Supply power to MT502 and keep charging and communication during the process.
Then operate on OBDSTAR MT502 tablet
Tap Test Platform>> agree with disclaimer>> All>> COMPRESSOR>> COMPRESSOR V30.11 (newest software)>> TESLA>> Tesla Model-Y SANDEN 1582668-00-F



Click Guide at the bottom left to check the best detection method



And click Pinout to check the related wiring diagram
Connect OBDSTAR P004 adapter and, and connect to Tesla compressor
Connect P004 adapter and MT502 via the main cable
Connect High Voltage DC Power and Tesla compressor via the OBDSTAR High Voltage Jumper


After connection, click Start and turn on the High Voltage DC Power
It's normal for the current range to fluctuate a little around 330V.



Turn on OBDSTAR P004 adapter and click Start button on the screen and
It shows "The test command has been sent (some compressors start with a delay of more than 10 seconds)".


Click Stop button on the screen
It shows "The test command has been stopped sending (some compressors start with a delay of more than 10 seconds or the power P004 be turned off)".
Turn off OBDSTAR P004 adapter
Finally turn off the High Voltage DC Power
